Change

Nothing has changed.Mr Deshpandey's peculiar style of walking and dressing(though he was much more formally dressed on the launching day),Moorthy sir's style of moving his face to and fro(and Sapna copying it),waking up enthusiastically for GSL,eating the same breakfast for the last 55 days, going on the same route for our PS(finally my PS mates are convinced and we have started taking lift). The same classroom, same Mr. Rajan, that same modernization with a lot of scope, that same chamber, that same food(consisting of just rice),the clock strikes 2 and we become as impatient as we were on the first day.

Even people have not changed.Venki is funny as before,Thilli hasn't stopped his PJ's(though his frequency has decreased a lot but has influenced a lot of other people),Sidhartha is as calm as ever,Vishal seems to be in a hurry since inception,Anvi is same with her hearty laughs and appreciating words,Chinmay is as busy as ever,Harshad's same jolly mood and even Sapna is same.

Things need to change and will definitely change, change we can believe in.

In counselling mode

I am glad that I got some work other than roaming on the beaches, and fooling Mr.Deshpandey.It did keep me away from a small dissappointment which came my way last night.I hope that disappointment gives a good justification which satisfies me.The weekend was entirely different from the previous one.I didn't even step out of the campus premises. Most of us remained on the campus on Saturday but they went to Doodhsagar waterfalls, which claims to be one of the top 100 waterfalls.I hope my friends don't face disappointment.I won't regret not joining them for the trip.Mohit and Abhishek were more important.
Hoping to be optimistic.

Level two crossed-:):):)

Today our group was to be introduced to the construction department. The person there was the first in GSL, who ws really inspirited to guide us,probably with everything he knew, seemed like an attempt of brainwashing our view of GSL.He introduced us with the various stages of development of the department, the materials used, their cost and probably everything he knew.He even disclosed the mystery of a 'magic' in which water disappeared infront of our eyes.He was a witty guy.He amusingly told us about the days when there are VIP visits to their departments and the way they don with the special attire and described the unusual dressing and walking as 'Man on Moon'.
He then told us about the technology used by the European countries for the same tasks and became a little sentimental.According to him, inspite of the frequent upgradation of technology in GSL,the condition there was still unhealthy and as he was growing older,it was getting irksome for him to work there.

The second and the last day of the first stage of our introduction to the departments, though we had nothing much to do even on the first day.Anvi's group did have something to study today .My group was quite happy with the personal cabin we got.Mr. Alen Peter(an M.Tech in I.T.)was to acquint us with the softwares used by the planning department-BAAN and PARMA VERA.Though Mr. Mazumdaar called him,he declined to do so as he was busy with some presentation work.Mr. mazumdar feebly gave us the manuals on the two softwares and asked us the scrutinize them, though he was not too vigorous. He instead asked us to meet the people of the departments and have a good time there.
All of us assembled at Mr.Deshpandey's office after lunch and pleaded him to grant us the permission of leaving, with all sorts of excuses, right from railway reservation to buying of raincoats.Thili suggested to leave without his consent, though we finally concluded that it would be perilous to do so.We left GSL for Margao, where we had planned to see a movie(Jannat-though we contrile our decision of doing so) after inqiring a lot about theatres from Rihan.

First day without a beach visit

After two great days,we were not at all interested in attending GSL.Had great difficulties in waking up and going upto the bus-stand,thank God the climate was cool.Today we started with the orientation of the departments of GSL,in three groups.B(Sidhatha,my school friend and my wingie, though has a weird nickname),Harshad and Thilli(Ankur jain, wingie)in one group,Anvi,Vishal(Kadich, his nickname,Punjab-da-putar)in the next group and Venki(my wingie, from Maharashtra),Chinmay(a Goa-campus student),Sapna(an optimistic Civilite, from Chandigarh) and I were in the last group.B's group had some long boring lectures,Anvi's group had nothing to do(were asked to see the ship and clear the doubts,if any). Our group started with the introduction to Mr.Borkar(Head-planning department),who narrated us two stories, emphasizing on the importance of attitude in one's life. Then we met Mr. Mazumdar, who was really funny. He started with the everybody's introduction and tried to connect himself with everyone in one or the other way.Had stayed in Mumbai and Bengal, had a close friend named Sapna and presently staying in Goa,he was connected to all.(Bihar-Bengal was relationship was really very weird) and Sapna's(his friend) memories made him Sapna's fan.He even offered her special coffee when she refused tea.It was the first time I saw a PERT chart and the use of CPM(Critical Path Method). We,in the planning department, were offered a separate cabin for discussions, though we used our privacy in a better way.The pic shows our cabin, with Venki sitting on the director's chair.
Though we were instructed to remain there till 4:30,our plan worked and we were in convincing Mr. Deshmukh for allowing us to leave.

first sunday-Yesterday's record broken

Yesterday's record of best beach till date(Kolva beach) was broken today. We visited the Palumole beach, which is one of the top ten beaches in the world.Extremely clear water, high tides and huge foreign crowd were the main reasons of attraction.
Today we got divided into two groups as some of the people were uninterested in visiting beach for the fourth consecutive day.The second group was initially as big as ours, but some splendid dialogue delivery by Aggru(Ankur Aggrawal, one of my wingies,P.S.-Chowgole Industries Ltd. )made the other group smaller than ours, two of them came to our group.Probably,Ankur Gupta wanted to do the same, but he is quite innocent for doing so(though he is hardly good to me).
It took almost 2.5 hours for us to reach. The local buses of Goa are overcrowded and the number of people standing exceeds the number of people sitting in the bus. Some of us had to cover the entire journey without getting a chance to sit in the entire journey. We had a nice lunch as soon as we reached there. For the first time on any beach, we enjoyed volleyball, though I attempted to combine cricketit with it:).
Exactly opposite of what happens in Hollywood movies,we had a disappointing ending.Goonjan(one of my wingies,P.S.-NCAOR) trying to explore the entire beach and a few nearby islands, without informing others, which created lots of confusion and frustration in people, leading to difficulty in finding a bus.Somehow we caught a bus and reached back, and this time too, more than half of the journey was standing.
